Giving: everything we do is funded by generous donations

If you would like to support us financially then you can do so by using the Donate button, paying by Direct Bank Transfer or Standing Order.

Donate button

Located on the homepage and most other pages, it’s easy to give or to pay deposits, wedding fees etc.

If you’re making a donation (regular or one-off) then please consider Gift Aid.  If you’re not making a donation but paying for a party, hiring the hall, paying for weddings etc, then please don’t Gift Aid as we can’t reclaim tax on services rendered for payment.

In order to help us correctly allocate your payment, where it says ‘Leave a message’ click ‘Yes’ and then tell us what the payment is for.

Direct Bank Transfer

If you bank online you can set up a one-off or regular donation using our details:

Account Name: St James and Emmanuel PCC Didsbury
Account Number: 00012894
Sort Code: : 40-52-40

If you are giving to a particular campaign then please indicate this in the reference section so that we can ring-fence your giving.  If you are setting up regular giving please use your name as a reference so that we know who to thank.

Download our Standing Order Form

Some people prefer to fill out one of our Standing Order forms and we then do the work of setting up your giving according to your instructions. You can click here to download a standing order form.

Whichever way you chose to give our response is the same, thank you! Thank you for being part of our mission to Didsbury and to supporting this church.

To enable us to make the most of your gift please don’t forget that as a UK taxpayer you can add 25% by completing a Gift Aid Declaration – we’ll be in touch with you.  If you have any further questions about giving then please don’t hesitate to contact our Treasurer, Hilary Lowe or the Parish Office.

Consider leaving a legacy gift in your will

We can offer free will writing to assist you in preparing your own will or another person’s will. The service is sanctioned by the Church of England, using a trusted legal provider called Farewill, and there is no compulsion to leave a legacy gift to St James and Emmanuel. Find out more.
