Most people want to record their wedding day with photographs and sometimes video. Here are a few things you need to know.
Photographers
Whether it is a friend or a professional or a combination of the two, most people have a dedicated photographer for their wedding. We understand that people like to have a range of photographs of their wedding day and so the ministers are very accustomed to working with wedding photographers to help you capture those special moments.
The minister can guide you and your photographer on where the best shots can be taken from and also what is appropriate during the service. Typically we ask guests not to take pictures during the service as they are there to take part rather than record it!
Video
You are welcome to use a video to record your marriage service providing you abide by the law of copyright. This law is complex and more details may be obtained here or by telephoning 01323 436111.
If you wish to use a video to record your wedding then you will need to complete and return a video notice form available here. In addition your fees will increase to cover the copyright charge.
