The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have set aside the period between Ascension Day and Pentecost as a global prayer movement. During the 11 days of Thy Kingdom Come, it is hoped that everyone who takes part will:
- Deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ
- Pray for God’s spirit to work in the lives of those they know
- Come to realise that every aspect of their life is the stuff of prayer
There are loads of resources on the Thy Kingdom Come website but here at St James and Emmanuel we’ll be emailing subcribers to our weekly newsletter a short reflection, written by one of the team, throughout the period. We hope these will help you engage with this season of prayer and mission.
