A two-day course in collaboration with Manchester Diocese
Youth Mental Health First Aid is a course designed to train everyone who works or supports young people aged between 8-18 how to support their mental health, provide help and guide them towards the appropriate support. The course will be held at St James and Emmanuel on April 2nd and 3rd from 9 am to 5 pm.
What will I learn?
This course provides an in depth understanding of specific mental health issues and delivered in four manageable chunks:
- What is mental health?
- Depression and anxiety
- Suicide and psychosis
- Self-harm and eating disorders
