The café has a patio, a new garden at the front of church and well-spaced seating inside.
Visit the Home Café website for full details on the measures taken to make your visit safe.
You’ll find us in the entrance of Emmanuel church, nicely nestled just behind the library on Barlow Moor Road. We believe in nurturing relationships, getting involved, not rushing on, and perhaps more importantly, always having the kettle right on and a ridiculously warm welcome waiting for all ages, and all walks of life.
Run by volunteer Home-Makers, every penny we make over and above the running costs of the café is reinvested locally; so it’s a bit like a community chest where the community itself decides how to use the money wisely.
Whether you’re a frazzled parent, a toddler bursting with energy, someone looking for a listening ear, or maybe someone who doesn’t find it so easy to get out and about these days, you’ll find a warm welcome at Home.
That’s what Home is – somewhere where you are accepted, loved and known for who you are, that sweet spot where people connect, engage and are maybe inspired to see things a little differently. Or, if you just fancy a cuppa and a catch-up, we’re good with that too.
