Jane Whittell

Jane Whittell

Former Team Curate

Jane was ordained in June 2017 and joined the St James and Emmanuel family as a self-supporting minister (SSM). This means that Jane did not draw a stipend and supported herself through her work as an RE teacher at Manchester Grammar School.  Jane worked for St James and Emmanuel on a flexible basis. Her key responsibilities were to take a share in leading and preaching at services and to support the work of the Farsi ministry.

Jane loves the Isle of Skye and she has left the parish for a placement in the area.
