Highlights of New Year’s Day radio broadcast from Emmanuel

Sunday Worship on BBC Radio 4 came live from our parish.

The theme of the service was ‘At the Doors of the Promised Land’ and we were joined by John Bell of the Iona Community. The service was led by Nick Bundock and the music was directed by Helen Leach. You can listen to highlights below:

John Bell reflected on readings from Luke 17.20-27, Revelation 2.8-11 and John 1.35-46. Two of his compositions were sung: Before The World Began and Take, O Take Me As I Am. Two compositions by Helen Leach were also included: I Rise Today and Our Father.
