Accessibility and inclusion are no longer optional for churches. In this detailed and helpful guide there is plenty of help for churches who would like to support and aid members and guests with dyslexia. Author, Aurora Betony, writes:
“I’ve written a guide to help churches include dyslexic adults. It’s available to download here in Word (for reading electronically) and download here in pdf (for printing).
It’s for everyone in churches. It explains what dyslexia is and why churches have to include dyslexic adults. It also suggests things churches can do to include dyslexic adults, and signposts to further information.
It’s illustrated throughout, and includes several resources in the appendices.
It is published under a Creative Commons License. This lets you as the reader use any of the material you wish from it in your own resources e.g. on your church website. You will find details of this on the front cover of the guide.”
