All Souls’ Service of Remembrance
Sunday 2 November, 4pm, St James Church
The process of saying goodbye, grieving and remembering a lost loved one merely begins at the time of the funeral. Everyone experiences it differently, but grieving can go on for some time. You are invited to this Service of Remembrance if it is something that will help as you continue to remember someone you have lost. All are welcome.
During the service there will be a mixture of readings, music and reflections culminating in an Act of Remembrance where you will be able to light a candle and hear the name of your loved one read out.
If you wish to have the name of your loved one read out at the Act of Remembrance, please complete a slip of paper when you arrive on the day and leave it in the basket on the table at the back of church. Alternatively, you can email the Parish Office by Monday 27 October with the name or names you would like to be included. Simply title your email ‘All Souls’.
We are delighted that members of Cruse Bereavement Support will be present to support anyone who would like to talk after the service. We will also be joined by Longford Community Choir.
