Youth Activities

For more information about any of these activities, please email Lexy McDonnell.

On Sundays at Emmanuel:

Youth Church
Sundays during the Emmanuel 10.30 service
Youth Church is for young people in Years 5-8. A very supportive group for the younger youth with fun activities, discussion, craft, food and drink. Please sign your child in before the service and they will be accompanied over to the Parish Centre by their leaders at the appropriate time. They should be collected and signed out again after the service. This group meets every week in term time except 1st Sundays, which are All Age services.

412
Sundays during the Emmanuel 10.30 service
This group is designed specifically for the older teenage members of the church.  The group prepares young people for full adult membership of the church family and there is a focus on learning to serve and growth in faith. 412 takes its name from a great verse in 1 Timothy 4:12 that perfectly sums up the aim of the group.

During the week:

Youth Cafe
This very popular group meets in the Home Cafe area of Emmanuel on Friday nights during term time from 7.30 – 9.30 pm. The Cafe offers loads of activities from a giant PS4 games area through to dance mats, table tennis and crafts. There is nail painting, baking or simply come and chat with friends or make new ones. There is no pressure to join activities – come, eat and chill. For more information visit our Facebook Page or follow us on Twitter @YouthCafeDids

Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults

Safeguarding is central to everything we do and we follow the comprehensive guidelines and requirements laid out for us by the Diocese of Manchester.  We also expect third party users of our facilities to adhere to comparable standards to ensure the well-being of everyone using our buildings.
