Home Groups: belong and grow within our church family

Home Groups: belong and grow within our church family

Life is better when lived in community with others, and now the wonderful Jenny Netherwood is our coordinator.

In St James & Emmanuel our home groups are places where people can find real friendships and if one starts from within the mini community of a small group it is so much easier to begin to understand our place within the wider community of our local church family and within the wider world at large.

At a deeper spiritual level it is within small groups that countless people have found, and continue to find, a place of security where they can grow as followers of Jesus, as modern day disciples. Indeed, our home groups are ideal places to address the big questions of life, including the challenges of trying to follow Jesus in the 21st century.

There are all kinds of small groups within our church family, meeting at a whole host of different times and places in our local area. If you would like to join a home group then simply email the Parish Office and Jenny will be in touch.
