Finding a Church can be hard when you have just moved to a new area as a young adult, but we would love to welcome and get to know you!
Whether you’re here as a student, or have just graduated and started your first job, there is a place for you with us. As an inclusive Church we have become home to a wonderful group of young queer and LGBTQ+ Christians, so we really mean it when we say no matter who you are, you’re welcome to join our family.
We have a home group that is specifically made up of young adults all going through similar stages of life. We use this as a time to support, pray and help challenge each other to grow in our faith.
Having recently signed up to be a partner Church with the Student Christian Movement, we really identify with their ethos, and are really encouraged by their amazing work – ‘SCM is a movement of students, past and present, responding to the call of Jesus to follow him and show the love of God on campus, in our communities, and in the world. We come together as an ecumenical and inclusive community, fostering unity in diversity and exploring faith through worship, discussion and intentional action.’
We are committed to making our young adult ministry a safe space for everyone, regardless of economic power, gender, gender identity, mental health, mental ability, physical ability, race or sexuality.
If you have any questions about how we are making our Church accessible to everyone or for more details on who we are, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our ordinand Alexa McDonnell (she/her) who is currently co-ordinating this ministry.
