The next steps

If you are ready to book your wedding with us then this is the page you’re looking for.

The best way to get this process started is to complete the web form on this page or can email the Parish Office direct.  Alternatively, you could call in during normal office hours or phone 0161 446 4150.

To confirm your booking you will need to pay a £100 non-refundable deposit. Once you have booked you will receive a letter of confirmation detailing your initial requests. The letter will also make clear what you need to do and by when.

In common with Register Office best practice we do require you to produce the following documentation:

  1. Evidence of nationality – a valid passport
  2. Proof of current address, this can be a utility bill, bank statement or driving licence

All must be original documents as we’re afraid that photocopies cannot be accepted.

If you are still hungry for more information, there is lots of additional information at the Church of England’s website Your Church Wedding.

In the meantime, enjoy your engagement and have fun planning your wedding!
